Course Description: US Government will explore the development of the foundations of the American Government: the three branches of government, the Bill of Rights, the electoral process, and the impact of state and local government. Political and economic systems present in America will also be examined. Students will be challenged to identify, analyze, and explain the major concepts and principles impacting the government in America.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
Critically analyze information and documents.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills and creativity in completing written assignments.
