General Science

Required Textbooks: Science in the Atomic Age (ISBN: 978-0-9962784-0-9) textbook (or .mp3 option)

Course Description: General Science explores broad topics such as the scientific method, experiments, atoms, molecules, the chemicals that are necessary for life, DNA, cells and more. Students will complete comprehension questions and chapter reviews for retention of book material. Labs will be conducted during class.

Classroom Work: Labs and group projects. Quizzes will be given in class or at home on Canvas.

Homework: Generally, we will cover one module every two weeks. Reading and notebook material will be completed at home. Quizzes will be given throughout the course and homework will be graded for completion.
