Electives for 9-10 Grade

Fall 1 (Sept 5- Oct 3)

Compass Olympic Games - A fun team building class full of sports, minute to win it and themed games. It’ll kick off with a grand opening and culminate in an awards ceremony!

Fall 2 (Oct 17-Nov 14)

Engineering STEM - Using their understanding of basic physics and simple machines, students will work cooperatively to create a Rube-Goldberg machine that will be able to perform a desired task.

Winter 1 (Nov 21 - Jan 9)

Social - Hang out with the Compass family this holiday season! Join us for games, theme days and winter treats as we enjoy some laid back time together. 

Winter 2 (Jan 16- Feb 13)

Spring 1 (Feb 27- March 27)

Performance Tech - Four weeks of hands-on training in lighting, sound, stage blocking and other facets of stage production culminating in a 5th week showcase of all the performance electives. 

Spring 2 (April 3- May 15)

Mock Trial - Students will gain first-hand knowledge of civil/criminal law and courtroom procedures.
