Required Textbooks: Language Lessons for a Living Education (purchase grade 3 or 4 depending on what grade your student is in for the fall 2024), 101 Favorite Stories from the Bible

Course Description: Enjoy a fun approach to writing through a variety of genres. Students will get to know stories while participating in a variety of games and writing exercises to teach vocabulary, reinforce elements of style, and add to the fun! Students will be introduced to new concepts in class and assigned homework in order to develop their writing skills. We will incorporate some literature based writing, creative writing, research, poetry, and more!

Classroom Work: Instruction, games, project collaboration, discussion, writing exercises

Homework: Writing assignments, workbook pages, projects, papers
