2nd Grade Science: Zoology, Astronomy, Physics

Required Textbooks: You can purchase a membership to Mysteryscience.com if you would like full access at home, but it is not required or needed to complete the course.

Course Description: Our curriculum is divided into three units (one unit per trimester). We are covering Zoology, Astronomy, and Physics. We will have videos, in-class instruction, class experiments and activities to go along with what we are learning for that week. Class instruction will prepare them for the homework assignments. We will be using Mystery Science in class. Teacher will give a link to the video of the week for those who want to re-watch it with their child at home. There will be some in class writing so it is expected that your child will be able to copy words off the board but help will be given as needed.

Classroom Work: Instruction, Experiments. 

Homework: Worksheets will be sent home each week.
